There are Jumper, Cloverfield and Ayat-Ayat Cinta the movie. I watched all of it in 21 Cineplex. Jumper and Cloverfield I watched it in EX Studi0 XXI. And Ayat-Ayat Cinta the movie I watched it in Senayan City XXI.
So, here goes my review.
First, is Jumper.
All I can say is this movie ‘Painfully dissapointing..‘. The idea is great. The actor an actress is OK. But the script ? Maan.. it’s lame. The movie supposed to be another great action movie. But it was BAD. The movie plot is too fast. And the connection between characters it is like puff and go. I just don’t understand. And the duration is only 90 minutes. Crap !!.. I really don’t like it. And I don’t want to see it again. I hope there will be no sequel for this movie.
Second , is Cloverfield.
Well.. for me, this movie is surprisingly good. I LOVE IT !!.. It’s kinda like Blair Witch Project. But it’s cooler. The adventure, the monsters is fascinating. I remember myself amazed when I first saw the monster. It’s pretty damn cool.. Worth to watch. Even the duration is only 90 minutes. It’s enough for me.
And last is Ayat-ayat Cinta the movie..
Humm.. The director, Hanung Bramantyo, definitely interpret the story slightly different from the book. But it’s ok, I think it is for the people to understand the story easily cause the duration limitation. There are several characters in the book that you will not found in the movie. And some additional story line. But in the end this movie is worth to watch. Even tough there was different, but we will get the same message. And this movie made me cry. Hehehe.. I cry like a baby.. So did my mother when she watched the movie yesterday.
There are still plenty of Indonesian movie I’d love to watch. But I only found the movie in 21Cineplex. Why.. oh why.. Blitz doesn’t play those Indonesian movie. I wonder why. Blitz it’s quite a supporter for independence movie like Perempuan Punya Cerita. But why not the other Indonesian Movie ? Such as Ayat-Ayat Cinta the movie, XL, Otomatis Romantis, Claudia /Jasmine and many more.
